Samantha Stickle had a passion for art and design since she was a young girl. She went on to pursue those passions by gaining experience in Interior Design from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and received her bachelor’s in visual communications from Geneva College. Samantha had the opportunity to study art and architecture abroad in Italy. Falling in love with natural stone and architecture, it led her to the kitchen and bath tile industry for 5 years. Samantha also managed a local store downtown called PG&H, which was a non-profit organization that’s goal was to support over 100 local artist/maker in the Pittsburgh region by giving them a store front to sell their products as well as insight on product curation and resources to grow their business. After the store closed, Samantha returned to Tile and Designs as their Outside Regional Sales Manager in Architectural sales for commercial and high-end residential projects. Over her years of experience in art and design, the thing she loves the most is the relationships she continues to build and ways she can help people create spaces where they can see beauty and add comfort to their daily lives. In her free time, she loves serving at her local church, spending time with her husband and 2 children as well as working out and rowing on a corporate crew team. Joining ASID as the Membership Director gives Samantha the opportunity to build relationships and connect people to a great organization that supports students and designers in amazing ways.
